Post One

Have you ever felt you didn’t belong? Has anyone ever made you to feel you didn’t fit their group? Were you kept out because you were different? Maybe it was because you were too tall or too short, too old or too young. Maybe it was because you spoke funny or because you were too black or too white or any of the colors in between. Perhaps you didn’t know enough or have the right letters behind your name. Were you kept out because of a disability or because of your gender? Or maybe you were the one keeping others out or stifling their contributions, gifts, and talents based on your limited experiences. Who knows?

There is a whole wonderful world out there, beyond the borders of our minds, which God created. In God kingdom, God wants all of us. In fact, God chose us. There are no socio-economic or color and gender labels or groups in which to belong or from which anyone is excluded. Revelations 7:9 says “…I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” You are in God’s kingdom. Help others to know they have a place in the Kingdom. Please share with us how you and or your church is reflecting the Kingdom today.
